Building Information Modelling for Sustainable Construction Project Delivery in Nigeria
Abstract
The study examines how BIM can address fragmentation in Nigeria's AEC industry and enhance sustainable project delivery. Using a quantitative approach with 80 respondents from construction stakeholders, findings show inadequate BIM implementation due to resistance to change, lack of understanding, and perceived high costs. Results indicate that effective BIM implementation would enhance professional collaboration and minimize resource wastage, improving sustainability in Nigeria's construction industry.
